When Purchase

  1. Make sure which type of battery is to be required. Carbon-zine batteries suit the devices that required
  2. Low capacity and low drain, whereas alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries fit for the use of high capacity and high drain devices.
  3. Notice the expiry date/best buy date stated on the battery packing. It is suggested to buy batteries from shops that have fast flow of goods in order to prevent buying batteries with short life time.
  4. Different shops may offer a large difference on the retail price, even though for the same type and brand name of batteries.
  5. Therefore, buying from shops which are on sale can even save more.
  6. However, do not over-stock up batteries although it is on sale, since batteries will be self-discharged as time goes by.
  7. Some types of alkaline battery carry a 'self-testing badge' on the cell. Putting 2 fingers on each and of the battery will enable to check its capacity level. Yet, the result may be affected by improper contact or some other factors. So, such type of testing method can only act as a reference.

Secondary Battery:

- Secondary battery contains reversible chemical materials allowing them to be recharged and used again.

Guidelines for rechargeable battery:
Storage & Disposal

  1. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. This may cause leakage or explosion.
  2. Do not use conducting material to contact the positive (+) and negative (-) pole of battery. Suitable 3. packing must be used during storage and transportation.
  3. Do not put the batteries into a sealed bag or box.
  4. Do not put the batteries into water. This may get the batteries heated and/or oxidized.
  5. If the alkaline electrolyte fluid gets into eyes or onto skin, wash using clean water immediately, and has to consult doctor.
  6. Do not connect more than 20 batteries together. This may cause leakage and heated.
  7. Keep batteries away from young children. Parents and guidance must give sufficient guidelines to children in operation battery and battery-powered devices.
  8. Do not throw or shock battery strongly.
  9. The battery charging time must not exceed the standards stated on packing. And if the battery is already charged, do not charge it again. Overcharging batteries will cause leakage, burn, and/or explosion.

Installation & Use

  1. Do use designated battery-charger and under designated recharge situation for Chung Pak Vinnic rechargeable batteries.
  2. Do not destroy the groupings of rechargeable battery pack.
  3. Read the instructions before installing the batteries. Follow the symbols showing the positive (+) and negative (-) pole of the batteries during installation.
  4. Do not destroy the outer shell of battery. This may cause short-circuit, leakage, or burn injury.
  5. Charge batteries under appropriate conditions (i.e. 15¢XC to +25¢XC in temperature), Otherwise, batteries may be heated, short-circuited, and/or shorten its life cycle.
  6. Do not mix old and new, or different types batteries with rechargeable batteries. This may cause leakage or explosion.
  7. Stop using the batteries when it occurs leakage, fading color, or some other abnormal circumstances.
  8. If 2 or more rechargeable batteries are to be used, they must be charged at the same time before use.
